MEMORIAL OPERATIONS/DEPUTY DIRECTOR
Reports to Director, Women's Memorial Education Center. Duties include management and oversight of Memorial activities and events including equipment requirements and setup; supervision of volunteer/docent program; and administration of Memorial tour program. Position requires direct contact with Memorial constituency and general public. Excellent speaking and customer service skills desired and must work easily and smoothly as part of team. Minimum of four solid years of personnel and/or facility supervisory responsibility needed. References required. Military service is a plus. DIRECTOR OF IT & COMPUTER OPERATIONS
Reports to Foundation President. Responsible for management, maintenance, and day-to-day upkeep of the IT Department. This entails management of the Foundation computer and related equipment inventory, management of a TCP/IP network with roughly 50 nodes including 6 servers, an additional network with 25 nodes at a secondary location, telephone system and AV equipment, software development for in-house applications using 4th Dimension (4D) RDBMS, management of IT personnel, daily backups and recovery, procurement of hardware and software to fit IT needs, technical support for the users, and occasional network cabling. BS in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering or related field required. One full-time position is currently available.      * Software Development: Knowledge of a high level programming language such as C, Pascal, JAVA, or Visual Basic. Knowledge of 4D programming preferred.
* Relational Databases: Knowledge of and experience with Relational database theory using Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, or another RDBMS. 4D preferred.
     * Networking: Knowledge of TCP/IP, Apple-talk, routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, Network Cabling and common TCP applications.
     * Computer Hardware: Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and upgrading. Knowledge of Macintosh hardware a plus.
     * IT Management: Scheduled maintenance, knowledge of backup and recovery software, management of inventory, documentation of procedure, purchasing hardware, software and services for IT needs.

PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSISTANT
Reports to Director, Public Relations and Development Innovative self-starter to establish and maintain press contacts and aggressively promote the goals of the Foundation to the media and the public. Position requires strong writing skills; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills; and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Position involves range of public relations activities including event planning and public outreach. Minimum of three years of journalism experience and knowledge of desktop publishing systems, Photoshop, Adobe In Design is desired, and knowlege of basic Web site design is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Military service is a plus. References required. One full-time position is available. DIRECTOR OF REGISTRATION
Reports to the Foundation President. Responsible for supervision of Registration Department personnel and the creation, update and correction of member records. Knowledge of data entry, customer service and team skills required. Knowledge of military, good writing skills and supervisory experience are musts.
