National Women's History Museum Fights for Location

The National Women's History Museum wants a permanent home to house its collections related to women's accomplishments and contributions—including those of military women—and further its educational efforts. And, it's wanted, "Right here, Right now!," the organization exclaims as it urges the US Congress to pass H.R. 6548 to provide a physical site for the museum on the National Mall.

Established in 1996, the museum board has been lobbying for a permanent national home in Washington, DC, for more than 10 years. To learn more about the effort, and how one might help, visit the National Women's History Museum Web site.
